About this Event

Sunday afternoons are for socializing! Come to Mrs. Rees' Vintage Parlor to meet local author, Sylvia Thomson and hear about her journey of writing. Reviving Joy is her first novel, a historical fiction with a hint of romance and adventure set in 1910 in Canada. She is excited to read a snippet of her story, share a few secrets with you, and sign your copy.

Also, In true vintage style, Mrs. Rees will show you how to embroider a lovely handkerchief with your initials!

And of course, we will eat treats and drink refreshing cordial while enjoying each others company. There will also be a special door prize for a lucky lady!

Each ticket includes a personally signed novel, snacks and materials for stitching your personalized handkerchief. Bring your own hanky, or purchase one from Mrs. Rees. at the Parlor.
