How do I book a photoshoot?

We have an online booking form which lets you check our availability and book online, this is the easiest way to make a booking and is available 24/7 however, if you prefer you can also call us at 613-827-0694 or email bombshell@mrsreesvbp.com

You can view our packages & pricing by clicking here.

How far in advance do I need to book for a session?

This varies, as our business can be seasonal resulting in extremely busy periods, if you're looking to book a special date we would suggest booking as early as possible! We work on a first person booking policy and are unable to re-arrange other clients booking dates once confirmed.

You can check our current availability online and secure your booking by clicking on the main menu above titled "BOOK ONLINE".

How do I pay?

In order to confirm your makeover & photoshoot booking you will need to pay a deposit at the time of booking via our online booking system, a 50% non refundable deposit is payable. You can come in person or pay via a bank transfer to bombshell@mrsreesvbp.com

The balance can be paid by Bank Transfer prior to the morning of your shoot day, or alternatively in cash or by credit card (Mc or Visa) or debit/ interact.

We are coming in the night before, where would you recommend we stay?

To enhance your already cool Vintage experience with Mrs. Rees' Vintage Beauty Parlour we would recommend "The June Motel" just a short drive away. Let them know we sent you!

Am I too old for a vintage Makeover or do I not have the right figure?

There is no such thing... you are a beautiful woman and we are professionals... together we will make a dynamic team! You will be pampered and feel beautiful no matter what age or shape!

Are there any age restrictions?

Our pinup makeover & photoshoot packages are available to anyone over the age of 19 if you wish to be photographed in lingerie.

Vintage shoots for families and children are available upon request, please contact us for details.

How do I prepare for my photo session?

What should I bring to my photo session?

We recommend you bring more outfits than you need to your shoot and Mrs. Rees will happily help you choose on the day. We also have items that may be used should you require clothing for your vintage package.

If you are shooting lingerie then make sure you remember to bring a whole set that matches including stockings, and if you are just shooting clothing then remember to wear a good fitting bra that doesn’t show through your dress (preferably nude and with multi way straps) and high heels!

If you are here for one of our pacakges and are here for the afternoon we recommend you eat before you arrive and bring snacks for the rest of the day if you wish…. We have plenty of tea, coffee, cold drinks and biscuits at the studio.

If you want / need to wear specific head pieces, hair extensions or special makeup for your shoot please remember to bring them with you, please let us know beforehand if you have any allergies to certain makeup products or overly sensitive skin.

How should I arrive for my session?

We recommend ladies arrive in clothes that don’t leave marks, so something loose fitting would be perfect and also something that has buttons or a zip on your top half so it’s easy to remove your clothing upon completion of your makeup and hair.

Please make sure you wash your hair the night before or if you have greasy hair the morning of your shoot…. Hair must be dry when you arrive.

Come with a makeup free face and moisturise well the night before. Please DO NOT apply sunscreen to your face prior to your session.

Hand and toe nails are to be freshly painted and body de fuzzed everywhere please.

How many outfits should I bring to my session?

You are welcome to bring more than required and Mrs. Rees can help you choose, if you like. If you want more outfit changes then what your 3.5 hour session allows we can always look at upgrading you to a longer session, time permitting at an extra charge of $85 per hour.

Do I need to have modeled before?

Absolutely not! We all have an inner model within us and with Mrs. Rees at the helm and behind the camera she will direct you expertly making you feel comfortable and confident! Only a small percentage of ladies who shoot here at Mrs. Rees' Vintage Beauty Parlour are actually models or have modelled before; most ladies are normal everyday girls looking for an amazing pinup/ vintage experience.

Do you provide our outfits?

Due to hygiene and sizing reasons we are unable to offer outfits, we do have a small selection of dresses and tops which you are welcome to use however, sizing is limited.

It's important to us to be able to guarantee your happiness, unfortunately, there is no way anyone can guarantee to stock items that you'll (a) like and (b) fit you correctly, the only way to ensure you love your outfits and they fit you perfectly is for you to bring your own items with you. Plus this way they're yours to keep along with the amazing memories of your pinup experience.

If you're stuck on how to aquire items, Mrs. Rees will be in contact with you directly and can offer some suggestions of where you may be able to aquire some items... until then, one of her very favorite local shops is Kimberly's Deja Vu

and Classy Chassis Clothing

Do I need to pay the balance owing prior to my session?

No, you will simply pay at the end of our session together.

What do I need to do prior to my session? Pre-Makeover checklist:

Please wash you hair the night before your appointment time, please DO NOT wash your hair on the day (unless greasy) as it can make it difficult to style if freshly washed.

If you have sensitive skin, or your skin reacts to certain cosmetic foundations, please inform your make-up artist on the day and to be safe bring your preferred make-up with you.

Please bring a variety of outfits with you; you can never have too many choices, if you want to bring lingerie thats fine providing you are over 19 years of age.

This is your experience and we want you to be happy in what you’re wearing; being photographed in lingerie is a personal choice and one only you should make.

Please remember to bring your own shoes, have all body prep done at least 1 day prior to your session not the day of.
